To improve the servers stability & preformance we decided to upgrade to the latest kernal version yesterday, however upon rebooting we descovered the server would not come back up, after talking with the ISP's techs it appears we have suffered from a "boot partition failure" (bascally the harddisk is fucked). we now have the server backonline and are working on recovering the data (all data is fine just needs transfering), we are about half way through this now. Once this is complete we may need too weight for the isp to reinstall the OS.
